Ritz Carlton Fort Lauderdale Sold to New Owners

photo of Ritz-Carlton Condo-Hotel in Fort LauderdaleOriginally opened in 2007 under the St Regis name developed by Castillo Grand, the Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale has changed hands and is under new ownership.  Financial terms of the transaction are not available - however, the name will remain Ritz-Carlton.

Situated at 1 N Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd across from the Atlantic Ocean in the heart of Fort Lauderdale's beach, The resort property consists of 166 hotel rooms and suites and thiry-four Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale Condo residences.

One year after openining in 2007; Starwood Properties, the parent company of St-Regis ended it's arrangement with Castillo Grand, opening the doors for Ritz-Carlton to take over operations.  Castillo Grand later won the legal dispute winning a $43 Million Dollar judgment.
