David Cassidy's Home in Fort Lauderdale Up For Auction

If you grew up in the 70's, you probably remember David Cassidy as the teen heartthrob Keith Partridge from the TV hit series "The Partridge Family."  According to an article in the local news, David Cassidy's Harbor Beach Home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is up for auction as he has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

Photo of Harbor Beach Fort Lauderdale home owned by David CassidyThe home will be auctioned off to the highest bidder, subject to bankruptcy court approval, according to an official at the auction house. Mr Cassidy who owns the Fort Lauderdale waterfront home jointly with his wife (who are divorcing), indicated in court papers that he no longer needs the home due to his profession which necessitates he travel frequently.

Fisher Auction Company has plans to auction the Fort Lauderdale home on August 19th. The estate home which was previously on the market for $4.4 million according to the auction listing has 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms with approximately 7,000 square feet.
