City of Fort Lauderdale residents and visitors can enjoy the scenic route and access destinations along the New River for FREE!  This service is brought to you by the City of Fort Lauderdale in partnership with Water Taxi of Fort Lauderdale and Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale

Music In The Park
When: FRIDAY-SUNDAY 6:30PM – 9:30PM
Where: Gulf Stream 

Gulfstream Park’s Music in the Park, featuring the greatest collection of local homegrown performers, will continue through the spring with weekly duos performing outside on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights at the Village Center Stage. All show times are from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Below is the full schedule of performers and their descriptions. Performances are subject to change; cancellations may occur due to inclement weather.

Sunset Kayak Tour
When: FRIDAY Sunset (Recurring)
Where: Mizell – Eula Johnson State Park

Take your pick of a kayak or paddle board for our weekly Friday evening Sunset Tour at Mizell-Johnson State Park. We launch from the Whiskey Creek Hideout Restaurant paddling through a peaceful mangrove trail and out into the calm waters of the intercostal waterway to watch the final sunset. Along the way, your guide will provide colorful commentary about local history while pointing out the multitude of animals that reside inside the park’s borders.

RV Show & Fun Fest
When: SATURDAY & SUNDAY 9AM – 4PM

Dive Into Summer

When: SATURDAY 3PM – 8:30PM

Where: EL PRADO PARK

Celebrate summer with us at our Dive Into Summer event on July 29, 2023, from 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at El Prado Park and the El Prado Parking Lot (4500 El Mar Drive).
This ocean-centric and community-focused event will feature local vendors, live music, yard games, an auction, and more.

Ranger Lead Park Tours

When: FRIDAY & SATURDAY

Where: HUGH TAYLOR BIRCH STATE PARK

 

Price:Free with Park Admission: Park entry fees apply $2 per pedestrian, $4 single person in a vehicle, $6 two or more persons in a vehicle. Recurring weekly on Friday, Saturday.
FIRST FRIDAY & SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH: Mangrove Habitat Walk | 10:30 AM.  This 1.5 mile walk will commence at the Ranger Station (front entrance) of the park and guide guests past the famous Gopher Tortoise habitat, through Pavilion 1 & 2 area and into the park’s extensive mangrove habitat. Guests will receive a historical overview of Hugh Taylor Birch State Park and an introduction to Mangrove habitats as well as the primary species of plants and animals that populate the area. The walk will conclude along the Intracoastal waterway and wrap back around toward the park’s main entrance. The walk will take approximately 1.5 hours. SWR Farmer’s Market

A weekly COMMUNITY farmers market is open each Saturday!
