Pompano Spring Fest
When: SUNDAY AT 12 PM – 7 PM
Where: Galuppi’s Pompano Beach

The Pompano Beach Spring Festival 2023 is a fun for the entire family event to be held on the grounds of Galuppi’s Restaurant – 1103 North Federal Highway, Pompano Beach FL 33060 on Sunday, May 7 between the hours of Noon and 7pm.

Sunday Jazz Brunch
When: SUNDAY AT 11 AM – 2 PM
Where: Esplanade Park 

The Sunday Jazz Brunch is an ideal way to relax and enjoy Fort Lauderdale’s scenic Riverwalk. This free, live outdoor concert series features the area’s best local jazz artists. Listen to the music on three different stages on the first Sunday of each month from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Well-behaved leashed pets are also welcome to attend. There is plenty of room to set up chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets to experience the fabulous entertainment. Event-goers can also stroll along the historic brick-lined walkway to enjoy live music while browsing items from local merchants and enjoying food from area restaurants.


Asian-Pacific Heritage Celebration

When: SATURDAY AT 10 AM – 5 PM

Where: Museum Of Discovery & Science

Celebrate Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month at MODS! Observe the geology of the many islands that make up part of the islands found in the Pacific.
🌋 Activities: Learn about different arts that are part of the Asian-Pacific American culture. Explore the science of volcanoes and islands and participate in a shark tooth dig!
🐍 Animal Encounters: Meet our resident animals and discover which ones come from the Pacific.
🎥 Watch an IMAX on the GIANT Screen: Flight of the Butterflies, Secrets of the Sea, Legend of the Enchanted Reef, Arctic: Our Frozen Planet and more!
🐳 Career Connections: Explore careers in the environment, marine, education and more!
Just for early learners (age 0-6): Join us in celebrating Asian-Pacific American Heritage through dancing, movement and culture-related activities. Be a part of this wonderful culture!
Cost: FREE with Museum admission.

Broward County Plant Fair

When: SUNDAY AT 9 AM – 4 PM

Where: Volunteer Park

 

Local plant vendors, orchids, native plants, herbs, exotics, succulents, houseplants, garden art and more. Free entry. Free parking.
